Christmas for All

Each year, during the Christmas period, the Mission of Nice and its members organize a Christmas party for anyone. At the mission, about hundred disadvantaged children come and receive presents from Santa Claus. There are also afternoon snacks, a show and everything is organized for the enjoyment of the children and their parents.

Here is a selection of what people had to say about Christmas for All in 2002:

“I think that these words that that I am writing in the name of my children are not strong enough to thank you again for all you have generously done. Thank you a thousand times and a Happy New Year to you all! Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

“It is immense, this joy and warmth that you share and give! Thank you!”

“Hello Santa Claus! Thank for what you have done for these children to make them happy! I wish you a very Merry Christmas.”

This particular year, the party was followed by an afternoon snack with wonderful pastries that were made by members of the Mission of Nice as well as the local bakery who been donating delicious snacks the annual party every year.

To end this afternoon, in the square outside the mission, the children assisted in a special show given by the puppet, Guignol, presenting the rules of the Way to Happiness.
